Pink and Brown combos

I have finished the Thinking of You cards I needed to make! The flower image on the first card is from a set called Happiness Shared. I ran the Chocolate Chip piece through the new

Stripes embossing Folder. The 2nd card was a quick and easy card that I added some retired Ribbon Originals too, along with a retired epoxy brad.

Stamping on DP

The first card was another favorite from the catalog that I really wanted to copy. This uses the Field Flowers set. The stems are stamped right onto the Newsprint DP. On the rest of the cards, I used some retired Designer Paper with Sage Shadow and Basic Black. I stamped some butterflies from the Precious Butterflies hostess set onto the DP to add a little to it. I punched out the sentiment with the Designer Label Punch, then punched out a black label which I cut in half and layered on the top and bottom of the sentiment. Black Satin ribbon, and black lace were used as accents.

I love the Top Note Die

The Top Note die makes such easy, yet pretty cards. These are more of the Thinking of You cards I'm making. I even used the part that I usually throw away on the first card! The blue is the card base, and the Top Note shape is cut out and used on another card. I put a ribbon rose on the sentiments, and used the new Choc. Chip scallop ribbon.

Thinking of You in Olive

The first card's background are leaves from the set BFF. The main image leaf is from a current hostess set, framed with one of the new mini embossing frame folders.

The second card's image is a big stamp called Sweet Floral. I added a mini pearl to the middle of each flower. The sentiment is a hostess set from the current mini. I added butterflies from the beautiful wings embosslit.

Love & Care

I was so happy when Stampin Up! changed the hostess program because I was able to get this set without having a huge order! These cards are CASEs of cards in the

current summer mini. To get the multi-colored flower, I inked the whole thing in Melon Mambo, then used a sponge dauber to add Rich Razzleberry to it. I put a ribbon flower in the middle. The sentiment is from Thoughts & Prayers.

Raining Flowers

I will be posting lots of Thinking of You cards because I need to make about 35 for a friend of my mom's. For these cards, I used the new SU! embossing powder in Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo. I also used one from Stampendous that exactly matches SU!'s Rich Razzleberry. To get the flowers multi-colored, I lightly poured one color on part of the flower, then the other color on the other half. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations. I used a new punch to make the piece behind the TT ribbon.

Crumb Cake Creations

The first card is a CASE straight out of the catalog. I think this was my favorite card from the entire catalog. The flower images are from the hostess set Simply Soft. I used the Vintage embossing folder on the Delightful Daffodil paper with one of the scallop punches in Early Espresso underneath. The vanilla oval is one of the new mini embossing folders, and the biggest oval punch fits right inside it! I used glue dots to hold down the crumb cake seam binding bow. The second card is similar to another card in the catalog, I just changed the size and DP used on this card. I also used the Tea stain ink from the distressing kid on the edges of the card. The originals of both of these cards can be seen in the hostess section of the catalog.
