The first card I made for my best friend Annie, whose birthday is on Wednesday. I used pieces that I had already cut out for a previous workshop, and went from there. I used sketch WSC75 also. The DSP is a long retired one-Linen Prints. The Sentiment is from the "Under $10" page, and the drink is from Cheers to you. I also used a grommet from the mini. The second card was cased straight out of Stampin Success. The base is Kraft, with a Basic Black Textured cardstock layer (from the Taste of Textiles package). Then I cut out a Baja Breeze Top Note, and a Kraft striped Top Note to layer on top (cut off the perforated part). The magazine said to make a ribbon guide by cutting out an extra Top Note and punching a hole in one side with the horizontal slot punch to create a space for the ribbon to go through. Then you just have to flip it over and punch again on the other side, and both holes will be symmetrical. The ribbon is Baja Breeze from the Designer Originals. The image was stamped in Staz-on and heat embossed with black embossing powder.

WSC74
I made this quick, easy card today between my dentist appointment and packing up another box. This is for WSC74, from Beate's Blog. The DP is Bella Rose (which I'm really going to miss). The sentiment is from Oval All, layered on a scallop oval. I used buttons for the 3 embellishments on the side of the rectangle, and some organza ribbon.

Challenges
I'm trying to catch up on some challenges that have been sitting in my inbox, just waiting for me to complete them. The first one is SCS222. I used the Thoughts and Prayers set, along with Autumn Vine DP (from the winter mini). I also used a retired HPH, moss gingham ribbon and an in color button to finish the card. The second card is SCS223. I used Soft Summer, the Damask stamp from Friends 24-7, and Kind Thoughts (Retired). Brocade Blue 5/8" ribbon and another in color button finish it off. I hope to complete a few more neglected challenges tomorrow and Tuesday. (I'm taking off work on Tuesday to go to the dentist.)

back to stamping
I finally got to stamp again. First, I had to put back all the stuff that I took to WV where I did a stamp camp. I have so many challenges that I want to do, so I chose two to do. The first is from Splitcoast- SCS224. The image is an old one called Stipple Hydrangea. I traded for this a while back, but hadn't used it yet. The DP is from SAB. I colored the image with Watercolor Wonder Crayons on a Shimmery White Top Note. I used some leftover cut-out cardstock from the Stamp Camp for the second card, which is a sketch from Beate's blog- WSC77. The stamp set is Morning Glory, also colored with WWC. The chocolate chip cardstock went through the Big Shot with one of the Texture Plates (set #4). The Celebrate stamp is from Matchbox Messages, on a Lots of Tags shape. Looks like I was into Big Flower stamps today :)
